Throughout her 13 years of experience, Claire has acquired an extensive knowledge of physiotherapy, particularly in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Claire successfully graduated from University College London in 2003 with a Master of Science degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

Graduates are recognised to have completed an advanced programme of study in the academic subjects relevant to physiotherapy, and to have developed advanced clinical skills.

The stringent examination process allows successful candidates to join an elite organisation called the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. By undertaking extensive post-graduate studies, members have achieved a recognised standard of excellence in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Belinda Hopkins MCSP MHPC

Originally from New Zealand, Belinda has been living and working in the U.K for 12 years, joining Apex Physiotherapy Clinic in 2009.

Belinda's special interest is in musculoskeletal pathology and sports injuries, and she is trained to teach Pilates and to practice acupuncture.

Belinda has excellent manual therapy skills – having gained her Post-graduate Certificate of Manual Therapy from Curtin University in Perth, Australia in 2008.

Jenny Murray MCSP MHPC

After qualifying from the Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy, Jenny worked in Bristol at the Royal Infirmary, and then at the Children's Hospital, before moving back to London in 1996 where she then specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

During this time Jenny worked with patients in the City and Canary Wharf treating a range of patients with both work and posture related dysfunction and sports injuries.

 

Since moving to the Chilterns Jenny has spent the last six years at a clinic with National Sports Centre, and has thoroughly enjoyed rehabilitating sports persons of all abilities along with general musculoskeletal injuries. Jenny has recently joined the team at Apex Physiotherapy Clinic.

Jenny is very experienced with excellent manual therapy skills, and is trained to use acupuncture.

Owen Gerrie MCSP MHPC

Associate / Chartered Physiotherapist

Owen graduated from Brighton University and after having specialised in the Neuromusculoskeletal field, he has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in large London hospitals and in Private Healthcare. Currently, Owen works at Apex Physiotherapy Clinic alongside his NHS clinic work. He has gained vast experience within the sports injury field and has worked in acute A & E Triage settings, following patients from acute injury to full rehabilitation and return to sport. He has a keen interest in sports related injury and dysfunction, in particular shoulder and upper limb injuries.

Owen has excellent manual therapy skills and is trained to practice acupuncture.

Angela Dennison MCSP MHPC

Since 1982 Angela has specialised in the treatment of respiratory patients, initially being the senior physiotherapist on an intensive care unit, then working for 24 years at Harefield Hospital gaining experience in the treatment of medical and surgical cardiothoracic patients and running the out-patient respiratory physiotherapy service.


Angela sees people with any respiratory condition. Her areas of special interest are in teaching breathing techniques to people suffering from the symptoms caused by Hyperventilation, and in teaching chest clearance techniques to those with lung conditions such as Bronchiectasis and COPD.


Angela is a member of the 'Physiotherapy for Hyperventilation' group.

Patients can be seen at the Apex Clinic or in their own homes if that is more convenient.

The Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) is a group of over 1100 physiotherapists, who are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. They have all undertaken  postgraduate study and reached a recognised standard of excellence in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy.
